HVAC Technician (Licensed) – Pro Shine

We are looking for a licensed HVAC Technician who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and shows up ready to deliver consistent, high-quality results.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and licensed HVAC Technician to support HVAC inspections, system installations, and ductwork repairs. This role requires professionalism, technical knowledge, and a strong commitment to doing the job right.

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid South Carolina HVAC License
• Must be EPA Certified
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Comfortable working in residential and commercial environments

Responsibilities:

• Perform HVAC inspections and identify issues within systems and ductwork
• Install HVAC systems, including air handlers and condensers (compressor units)
• Complete all work related to HVAC installations, including setup, connections, and system checks
• Perform ductwork repairs, sealing, and modifications as needed
• Provide accurate recommendations based on findings
• Ensure all work meets Pro Shine quality and safety standards
• Communicate clearly with customers and team members
• Maintain cleanliness and professionalism on all job sites

Skills & Capabilities:

• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, components, and airflow dynamics
• Ability to install HVAC systems, including air handlers and condenser (compressor) units
• Knowledge of ductwork design, sealing, insulation, and repairs
• Ability to diagnose system issues and recommend effective solutions
• Familiarity with indoor air quality (IAQ) best practices
• Ability to safely handle HVAC equipment, tools, and materials
• Understanding of EPA guidelines and safe handling of refrigerants
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to explain findings and recommendations clearly to customers
• Attention to detail — no shortcuts

Physical & Work Requirements:

• Not afraid of heights (ladder work and elevated areas required)
• Able to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout shifts (25–50 lbs)

• Must maintain a clean, professional appearance and uphold company standards at all times

Additional Information:

• Previous HVAC experience required
• Training will be provided to ensure all team members understand and consistently meet Pro Shine standards
